TINAPIK ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) si Ramil de Jesus na maging head coach ng national women’s team at inaashan na panatilihin si Dante Alinsunurin na tagapayo ng men’s squad.
Sinabi ni Tony Boy Liao, chairman ng PNVF’s National Team Department, na tatalakayin ng committee members ang usapin tungkol sa dalawang coaches sa susunod na Linggo.
Si De Jesus ang huling head coach na namuno sa women’s national volleyball team na naguwi ng third place finish sa 2005 SEA Games.Habang si Alinsunurin ang nanguna sa men’s team na sumungkit ng silver medal sa 2019 SEA games.
Inaasahan na magpupulong sa Lunes ay sina, secretary Richard Gomez, PNVF president at National Team department co-chair Tats Suzara kasama ang bagong miyembro Fe Mijia-Moran, Grace Antigua, Mayie Molit-Pronchina,Tina Salak, Michael Verano, Odjie Mamon,Charo Soriano, Rollie Delfino at Oliver Mora.
“That’s not yet final. We’re meeting on Monday to finalize it. It will also depend if they will accept it,” Wika ni Liao.
Puntirya ng PNVF na lumahok sa Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Asian Seniors Women’s Championship mula August 29 to Sept.5 sa China, Asian Seniors Men’s Championship sa Sept. 12 to 19 sa Japan at 31st SEA Games sa Vietnam sa November.
Si De Jesus ay naging coach ng Filipina Spikers sa 2018 sa ilalim ng Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc.
