Elevating Unity and Service: The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles’ New Leadership

In a landmark event that resonated with a sense of unity and shared purpose, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles (TFOEPE) unveiled its newly elected officers in a gathering of over 4,000 officials from across the nation in Las Piñas City on November 26, 2023. This marked a pivotal moment for the organization, ushering in a new era under the leadership of President-elect Eagle Ronald Delos Santos.

Securing a commendable 1,042 votes, Eagle Delos Santos now assumes the mantle as the 38th President of the Philippine Eagles. His vision encompasses broad themes of unification, organizational restructuring, transparency, and the implementation of essential reforms, including the General Appropriations Act, enhanced digitization, a revamped online presence through a dynamic website and portal, the establishment of an Eagles Cooperative, global expansion of membership, and a fortified collaboration with both governmental and non-governmental entities.

The outgoing President, Nelson Sarapuddin, known for his responsive approach during his tenure from 2021 to 2023, has called upon the incoming leadership to build upon the organization’s ongoing efforts, particularly in providing vital assistance during calamities and addressing the needs of those in distress.

In an interview, President-elect Delos Santos affirmed the commitment to continue and build upon the positive initiatives initiated by President Sarapuddin. He expressed, “After this election, we will collaborate with our officers and staff to formulate an improvement plan for our organization. We are dedicated to contributing to the government’s poverty alleviation program and enhancing our capabilities to meet and exceed our project goals.”

The newly elected officers, a diverse and experienced team including Executive National Vice President Eagle Jason Masa, Vice President for Luzon Eagle Agaton Javier, Vice President for Visayas Eagle Arnold de Asis, Vice President for Mindanao Eagle Soliven Teo, and the Board of Trustees featuring Eagle Ronnie Aquino, Eagle Emilio Ramon “ER” Ejercito, Eagle Boy “JM” Llames, and Eagle Yuri Tulawe, collectively bring a wealth of perspectives and dedication to their roles.

This transition did not go unnoticed by prominent figures in Philippine politics, with Senators Cynthia Villar, Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Francis Tolentino, Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, and JV Ejercito, along with Usec. Epimaco Densing III, Himamaylan Mayor Raymund Tongson, and Okada NCR-84 Governor Zen Turica, gracing the event. Their presence underscored the vital role TFOEPE plays in the broader socio-civic landscape of the Philippines.

Established in Quezon City in 1979, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles stands as a symbol of socio-civic engagement, emphasizing strong brotherhood and humanitarian service. As the organization embarks on this new chapter, the collective aspiration is that the Philippine Eagles will soar to new heights, making meaningful contributions to the betterment of society and positively impacting the lives of those it serves.
