PUMANAW na ang abogadong si Richard Cambe, dating chief of staff ni Sen. Bong Revilla, dahil sa stroke Huwebes ng gabi, sabi ni Bureau of Corrections spokesperson Gabriel Chaclag.
Nakulong si Cambe dahil sa ‘Plunder’ noong 2018 dulot ng P224.5 milyong Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) ni Revilla na nakapiit sa New Bilibid Prison sa Muntinlupa City.
Ayon kay Chaclag, dinala si Cambe sa Ospital ng Muntinlupa ngunit nasawi 6:00 ng gabi.
Wala aniyang senyales ng foul play sa kanyang pagkamatay.
“His next of kin has been informed and they requested that their privacy be respected. So we can only confirm that he died of stroke. Initial investigation also shows no signs of foul play so far,” pahayag pa ni Chaclag.
