SINIBAK sa puwesto ni Philippine National Police Chief, General Guillermo Eleazar, ang commander ng Talipa Police Station ng Quezon City Police District kaugnay ng pagtalaga ng kanyang mga tauhan sa ‘State of the Nation’ kahit hindi pa lumalabas ang resulta ng swab test sa Covid-19.
Ayon kay Eleazar, ang pagsibak sa puwesto kay Lt. Colonel Cristine Tabdim, Police Station 3 commander, ay sanhi ng command responsibility.
“In view of the apparent breach of protocol when most of these PNP personnel were deployed for SONA duties even if they were still waiting for their RT-PCR results, I have already ordered the administrative relief of the Station Commander, Police Station 3 of the QCPD, for command responsibility.”
Nauna dito kinumpirma ni QCPD Director Brigadier Gen. Antonio Yarra na 82 mula sa 161 personnel ng Police Station ang nagpositibo sa Covid-19 sa isinagawang swab testing.
Habang 51 mula sa 82 pulis na nagpositibo ang itinalaga upang mangalaga sa kaayusan at seguridad sa Commomwealth Avenue kaugnay ng huling SONA ni Pangulo Duterte.
Sinabi ni Eleazar na hinihintay pa nila ang resulta ng RT-PCR test result ng 167 pulis at pakikipag- ugnayan sa Quezon City Governmet para sa pagsasagawa ng contract tracing.
Umaasa si Eleazar na magsilbi itong babala sa lahat ng Police commanders na mahigpit na tumalima sa mga itinakdang health protocols sa seryosong banta ng Covid-19 partikular na sa mabilis na pagtaas ng bilang ng kaso ng ‘Delta variant’. (Mark Obleada)
