CAMARINES SUR – Upang makapagpatayo ng silid-aralan, isang guro ang nagbebenta ng mga BTS merchandise sa Sagnay, Camarines Sur.
Sinimulan ng elementary adviser mula sa Quilomaon Elementary School na si Kate Argones ang #HelpBuildAClassroom fundraiser event nitong Marso upang makalikom ng pondo para sa pagpapatayo ng silid-aralan.
Upang makatulong sa kanyang layon, ibinebenta ni Argones ang ilang BTS merchandise collection sa Facebook, Instagram at Twitter sa pamamagitan ng raffle na binabayaran ng mga mamimili.
“It was challenging given that it was my first time to be a forewoman. I was the one who managed everything — from project launch to daily updates, to procurement of materials, to manning the laborers,” pahayag ni Argones.
Para masubaybayan ang progreso ng konstruksyon ay nagsasagawa siya ng vlog araw-araw.
“It was tiring but at the same time very fulfilling especially when I edit the daily vlogs and could really see the progress of the classroom,” kwento niya.
“I’m really excited for the kids of Quilomaon Elementary School to utilize the classroom. This is for you. You are my future. I am diligently praying that COVID-19 disappears and I get to see you, meet you, teach you as well as learn from you. We created this fun learning environment for you,” pagpapatuloy ni Argones.
Nakaipon na ng P293,000 ang proyektong #HelpBuildAClassroom at inabot lamang ito ng 45 araw bago makumpleto ang pagpapatayo sa silid-aralan.
