Sinibak ni Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Antonio C. Yarra ang siyam na opisyal sa mga police station dahil sa kabiguang linisin ang mga ilegal na sugal sa kanilang mga nasasakupan.
Ayon kay Yarra, ang pagsibak sa siyam na opisyal na hindi pa niya pinangalanan, kinabibilangan ng dalawang station commanders at pitong Police Community Precinct Commanders bunsod na rin sa pinatutupad na ‘one- strike policy’ sa lahat ng station at unit commanders na mapapatunayang may koneksyon o mabibigong masawata ang lahat ng uri ng illegal gambling, base sa kautusan ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) PMGen. “Immediate relief without a room for bargaining. This is what PCP commanders and station commanders will face should a case of illegal gambling happen in their area of jurisdiction under their nose without them knowing. We will strictly enforce the No-take policy from illegal gambling and other illegal sources in line with our endeavour to deliver Serbisyong TAMA NCRPO-wide. Those who will try to go against this policy shall definitely be dealt with the full force of all existing laws and PNP policies.” giit ng NCRPO chief.
